Terms and conditions
These trading terms apply to all quotations, orders and equipment supplied by Equiptech Automotive.
1. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue and are subject to stock availability and exchange rate movement on imported lines.
2. Orders & payment
Orders are confirmed on receipt of a signed quotation or official purchase order. Account terms apply only where credit has been approved in writing.
3. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates given in good faith. Risk passes to the customer on delivery; ownership passes on full payment.
4. Installation
Installation of lifting equipment is subject to a site survey. The customer is responsible for ensuring the slab, power supply and access meet the manufacturer's requirements.
5. Warranty
All equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Warranty excludes wear parts, consumables, misuse and unauthorised repair.
6. Returns
Returns require prior written authorisation and must be in original packaging and unused condition. Special-order and configured items are non-returnable.
7. Software & subscriptions
Diagnostic software licences and coverage subscriptions are governed by the manufacturer's end-user licence terms and are non-transferable unless the manufacturer permits it.
8. Liability
Equiptech Automotive's liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of workshop revenue.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
